Family

The company’s founding historian is Fortunato Iuzzolini who together with his wife Giovanna Colicchio have transferred to their sons, Diego, Pasquale, Antonio and Rosa, the love and passion for their land giving life, back in 2004, to the Iuzzolini Estate. The estate covers an area of about 500 hectares of which, 100 hectares of vineyards with specialized crops, 50 hectares in secular olive grove, 100 hectares of arable land and the remaining part consisting of pastures and woods for livestock raised in the wild. In the estate are currently cultivated three varieties of native Calabrian grapes Greco Bianco, Gaglioppo and Magliocco and other varieties of vines including Pecorello, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Merlot.The winery produces thirteen types of wine, each with its own particular characteristic, a passito, sparkling wine and two grappas for a total of about 1,200,000 bottles.

The main objectives of the company are:

• Recovery and enhancement of Calabrian native vines.
• Technological innovations respecting the production traditions and the environment.
• Creation of great wines destined for the catering and wine bars.

The historical cultural union is for the owners reason for deepening the roots, to better understand the past and improve the future through the young, the true pillars of a healthy and evolved society, starting from the culture of “what has been”.
